Enter your access code

Enter your access code

This is the page you use to start or come back to your assessment. You need the access code that was given to you when you registered.

What you see on this page

  • An Access code field to type or paste your code into. Hover the field label for a one-sentence helper tooltip explaining what the code is.
  • An Enter assessment button to go to your assessment.
  • A short note on the left explaining what the code is.
  • A help message reminding you that some codes are personal and some are shared by your invigilator.

If the page shows an error, it will appear in red at the top.

How to start your assessment

  1. Find the access code you were given. It may be on paper, in an email, or shown by your invigilator.
  2. Click in the Access code box.
  3. Type or paste the code. You can paste the full link if that is what you were given. The system will pull the code out for you.
  4. Select Enter assessment.

If the code is correct, your assessment will open. If it is not correct, you will see a message asking you to check the code.

Joining a live session

If your code is for a shared session, the page may ask for your name and email address. This is so the invigilator knows who you are.

  1. Enter the code as above.
  2. When the form asks, type your first name and last name.
  3. Type your email address.
  4. Select Register for session.

You will then be taken to your assessment.

What to do if you get stuck

  • Code not recognised — check that you have copied every letter and number.
  • You cannot find your code — speak to your invigilator or the person who registered you.
  • You see "Request validation failed" — refresh the page and try again.

Your code is linked to you and only works for your assessment. Do not share it with anyone else.

A note on the field tooltip. The Access code field carries a one-sentence helper tooltip on its label, written in plain language. It explains what the code is without naming any behind-the-scenes detail, in keeping with the candidate-facing readability rules. Hover the label to read it.

Access code

Use the access code provided for your assessment. Some codes are individual; some let you register for a live session.

Need help?

Your access code may be a link you can click directly, a personal code, or a shared session code shown by your Invigilator.

You can paste either your full access link or just the code itself.
